PLACES TO VISIT THE MINOAN PALACE. A very interesting archaeological site just five minutes away on foot, from STELLA’S TRADITIONAL.
| THE DEADS' GORGE. A must for any visitor is to hike the famous canyon with the unique, wild beauty. The walk varies from one to three hours depended on the route you will choose. |  | | THE CAVE OF PELEKITA. The famous cave with lots of Minoan findings, and amazing stalactite and stalagmite decoration. One hour walk on a clean path away from Kato Zakros. | | | THE BEACH OF KAROUMES. An isolated unspoiled from the civilization beach a two and a half hour walk away from Kato Zakros or a one hour walk from the village Hohlakies through a canyon. |  | | THE BEACH OF XEROKAMBOS. A beach with golden sand a one hour and forty five minute walk away from Kato Zakros or twenty minutes by car through the village Zakros. |  | | THE MOUNTAIN TRAOSTALOS. It was a peak sanctuary during the Minoan ages.You can approach the summit in about two hours walk or by car through the village Azokeramos. The view from the top is magnificent. |  | | THE SKOPELI SUMMIT.
